The New Advanced version

For use with Word 2000 or higher

TO INSTALL THE Advanced "MINICRIB"  DATABASE PERMANENTLY ON YOUR COMPUTER

Download the template MinicribAdv186.zip to your computer, unzip it, place it on your Desktop and double click on the new Minicrib Icon to open the program.

Do not disable the macros when loading this Template and if you have security problems set your security level to Low & maybe clear the box(es) in "Trusted Sources" (to check, click Tools/Macro/Security)

Word 2007 disables Macros by default & to use the Minicrib database the Macros need to be enabled.

To enable 2007 Macros by accepting all Macros:-

Click the Office Button (top left hand corner) & select Word Options, click Trust Center & Trust Centre Settings.

Then select Enable all Macros & click OK, OK, to close the window.

Please note that the above changes will remain unless the Macros are specifically disabled again.

To enable 2007 Macros but maintain Macro security:-

Click the Office Button (top left hand corner) & select Word Options, click Trust Center & Trust Centre Settings (as above)

Then select Macro Settings, click Trusted Locations & Browse.  Locate Desktop & click OK.  ‘Desktop’ should now appear in the list of trusted locations & click OK.

The Minicrib file if placed on your Desktop will now work with Macros enabled while other files (those not on Desktop) will have their Macros disabled.

Double click on the Minicrib Icon on your Desktop, or if you have pasted it into the Template window, open WORD and click File/New and double click on the Minicrib Icon. 

Click on the Footprint button on the left of the Toolbar or press Alt+X and after clicking OK on the Minicrib Options page all dance crib titles will be seen in a window in alphabetical order.  Clicking on the Filter List button will enable searches to be made for dance titles, devisers, figures included etc.  This facility is also available in greater detail by clicking on Minicrib in the Toolbar .   

Word 2007 - the footprint button & the special Minicrib facilities will appear if the 'Add-ins' tab is clicked.

However, it is recommended that the full Welcome Page instructions (9 pages) is printed and digested before using all the facilities now available.
