TO INSTALL THE "MINICRIB"  STANDARD DATABASE PERMANENTLY ON YOUR COMPUTER

Download the zipped template Minicrib00v186.dot to your computer, unzip it and place it on your Desktop.  The self unzipping files will automatically appear in C:\Windows\Temp when the Unzip button is clicked.   If the Minicrib file cannot be found use the search\Find facility to locate the unzipped file).  When located drag it onto the Desktop.

Alternatively Copy the unzipped Minicrib Template & Paste it into the Template Window which opens after clicking File/New (additionally in WORD 2002 click on General Templates).  Right click clear of existing Icons & Paste and a new Minicrib Icon will appear.

Do not disable the macros when loading this Template and if you have security problems set your security level to Low & maybe clear the box in "Trusted Sources" (to check, click Tools/Macro/Security).

Double click on the Minicrib Icon on your desktop, or if you have pasted it into the Template window, open WORD and click File/New and double click on the Minicrib Icon.  The Minicrib Welcome Page should now appear.  

The Welcome Page includes full instructions how to prepare your cribsheet & search for specific dances.  Please note that any experimental Macros mentioned on the Welcome Page do not function in WORD 97

Clear the Welcome page, click on the Footprint button on the left of the Toolbar or key Alt+X and all dance titles will be seen in a window in alphabetical order.  

TO INSTALL THE "MINICRIB"  ALPHABETICAL DOCUMENT ON YOUR COMPUTER

Download the zipped document MINICRIB186.doc to your computer, unzip it and place it in your Document Folder.  The self unzipping files will automatically appear in C:\Windows\Temp when the Unzip button is clicked.  If the Minicrib file cannot be found use the search\Find facility to locate the unzipped file).  When located drag it onto the Desktop.

Open the document in the normal way and the dance cribs will appear in alphabetical title order.  Use the Find facility to fast travel down to the required dance. 

If using Word 2000+ the Alphabetical document can now be generated directly from the Template Minicrib00v186.dot

However, if you are not using Word 2000+ and require the Alphabetical document listing all the dances (about 350 pages), download the document version MINICRIB186.doc

 The Template and Standard document files have been zipped, if you are not able to unzip them use the Self Opening Files.
